At Sanjita Kujur’s stall located at Baghbora on Sonahatu Road, about 7 kilometers from Gumla district headquarters, 12 pieces of Gulgula are available for just Rs 10. This will definitely fill your stomach.

People are crazy about the Gulgula found here, which are prepared from pure flour. It is also beneficial for health. People are so crazy about the taste of the Gulgulas available here that as soon as the stall is set up, customers start coming and going. Some people start taking out dumplings with their hands as soon as they are fried in the pan.

All things are prepared on wood stove
The story of stall operator Sanjita starting the stall is also quite interesting. She has lived in Haryana for about 12 years. There she used to stay in the horse farm house and work on feeding and taking care of the horses. After being away from home for a long time, she decided to return to her village Parsa and then planned to start her own business and has been running her own business for about 5 years. He said that I still prepare everything in the wooden stove in pure country style like the olden times.

She said that to make Gulgula, I use flour, sugar/jaggery and mild baking soda. Then I filter it hot in refined oil in a wood stove and serve it to people. Along with this, I serve it in pure Sakhua Dona along with potato and gram vegetable, special chutney prepared from gram and coriander leaves chutney.

12 Gulgula for Rs 10
12 Gulgulas are given for just Rs 10. The stall is set up only on Tuesday and Saturday in Baghbora, Tamras Dand Bazaar. The stall is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Here people pack more food and take it home. Tulsi Singh, a customer who came to eat at the stall, told that I am a resident of Gumla, but currently live in Mumbai. Whenever I come to Gumla during holidays, I definitely come to eat the dumplings available here.
